Hobbies

Someone once asked me what my hobby was.... I have been known to tease that collecting kids was my hobby. I love babies, toddlers, children, youth and all children. I love them with my whole heart and love to be with them.... However I think I have found what another of my hobbies are.
I have been going through some tote boxes I have packed away from all our remodeling and such and I found an entire tote filled with Journals. I have a Journal for each of my 10 Children. I have journals for me, my blessings, my thoughts, personal blessings given to me, counsel I have been given, Stake conference, journals for filled of conferences, seminars and meetings I have attended, jourals of my musings as a mother, journals of things I want to do, things I am passionate about and things I want to learn about and probablly many more topics you can imagine.
Many years ago I was watching Mountain of the Lord and President Wilford Woodruff talks about the importance of Journals and being a record keeping people. He said that since the day he heard a prophet say keep a journal he started a journal and felt like a fish out of water each night until he wrote in his journal. I have strived to do so and am far from perfect in this area.
I have a notebook fetish and I love them. I keep them everywhere even in my purse just in case I have a thought that needs recording before it flees. I make lists of things to do so that my mind can be free fr om trying to remember if I did this or that....
Writing is not one of my strengths but I love the to read the written words, I love the meaning of words. I love to discover new words and their meanings...
So here is my list of Hobbies I am sure I will be adding to this list as it grows....
1- Mothering Children

6- Journals
