1- I am supper excited Fall is here. It is my favorite season.
2- This week we canned 64 quarts of stewed tomatoes.
3. We went ice blocking (Sliding on our bellies like Mr. Poppers Penguins.
4- We ate Gold Fish and Blue Jello with Swedish fish for snack
5- We read Mr. Poppers Penguins
6- We had a family Bonfire and Burned our Weapons instead of burying them like the Anti Nephi Lehies.
7- We picked Tomatoes
8- Lauren Called and I loved talking to her.
9- A piece of my tooth fell out and I have put off going to the dentist because I am afraid of pain.
10- Emily had a late-over last Friday night so she had 6 friends, Abby had 1 friend, Josh had 1 friend , and Nathan had 4, So we had a slew of kids at our house and Mike Worked Late. They made Brownies in the Waffle Iron( Messy!!!!), Painted Nails, Played Flag Foot ball, Played with glow sticks
11- Last Friday we had our first Story of the World Book Club. We dug for Spanish Gold and Learned about Large Numbers like How much is 500 billion, a Billion, Million........ The kids were surprised how many zeros it took to make a Billion. We played estimation games, watched A Billion, Million Reading Rainbow, and drank Chocolate Milk.
This week We will celebrate Guy Fawkes Day Early.........
12- Daniel Comes home Friday well to his moms.... We will see him over General Conference!!
13= Maelyn went camping with her homeschool group, they attended the Brigham City temple Open house, Went swimming, Did Baptisms for the dead in the Logan Temple, and played golf, Maelyn got to drive a golf cart and nearly rolled one.
14- Josh works for a friend of ours cleaning up construction sites for . He used the money to by an air-soft gun.
15- I am making these darling Kitty Cat purses with the girls. We have a list of sewing projects we want to do over the colder months.
16- Mike brought me flowers
17- we made a dent in finally organizing our food storage in the basement
18- I am the Cub sout Wolf and Bear Den Leader- I planned scouts out for the rest of this year. I love Scouts I just get to play more..... Last week we carved Soap.
19- I received the HBO series about John Adams in the mail... Watched the first 2 episodes but fell asleep part way through the second one.
20 - Sammy woke up last Saturday with her eye swollen. I thought is was a bug bite and gave her some Benadryl then that night it was worse. I took her to Urgent Care Sunday morning and the Dr. Said that it most likely is a spider bite and sometimes they can swell up for two weeks... I left his office with a prescription for some Steroids just in case the swelling did not start going down by Monday morning. She received a priesthood blessing and Monday morning she just had a black eye. Its all better now.
21- I could not find my camera to take pictures of our Kids clubs nor Sammys eye!!!
22- I am super duper excited for this school year. I love Freedom and Love teaching the Principles of Freedom and Learning to be Georgic.
23- 9/11 still gets to me. I was moody and cried off and on all day. I let the kids watch clips of news broadcasts and Music Video by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
24- Emily Asthma continues to be yucky do to so much dang smoke. We have had our fair share here in Tooele.
25- During a recent Thunderstorm the mountain caught fire from Lightening striking.
26- I am reading Yearning for the Living God by Enzio Buche. I highly recommend it!
27- I am going to make some chocolate zucchini bread and some blueberry zucchini bread.
28- Tomorrow I am going to harvest my neighbors peach tree bottle the peaches.
29- I am going to make homemade rotel and some salsa.
30- We bottled 2 large totes boxes, 2 large baskets, a dishpan full of tomatoes this weekend
31- I love canning with my kids. They actually talk to me about life.
32- I am so glad Joshua and Maelyn love Ballroom dance class. they attend each Saturday and LOVE all the new friends they have met.
33- For the first time ever.. ALL my kids have friends that they hang out with that I do not have to drive half and hour one way to a play date.
34- I look forward to Halloween. I feel like a little kid! I am planning a super cool Science party.
35- I love teaching my kids at home I get to learn and teach all the fun subjects I want too.
36- I have been called a Mollie Mormon and I love it! I guess I am if you consider all I do for homemaking being a Mollie.
37- I am looking forward to planning the Pinewood Derby for next month.
38- I love playing with my kids, making forts, going for walks, playing at the park, making things, cooking, baking, and working beside them....
39- I love it when Mike is home!! Lately he works a lot. One day this week he came home at 9 am the next day.
40- I love being a wife and a mommy!
