How Great Thou Art

I woke up with this song going through my head.  I can not help but fill so overwhelmed by the spirit every time I hear this song.  My Grandma and Grandpa Champion used to sing this together and I am sure they are singing it now together in Heaven.  Sometimes I think I can hear them and it brings a smile to my face.
And when I was on mission my companion and I were visiting with the Duplacee family and each week we would gather around their table and sing Hymns.  They were not members of our church but they loved God.  Mr Duplacess had had five strokes and was in a wheel chair he was a good man.  I loved our visits so much.  One day I recieved a call that Mr. Duplacee had had a 6th stroke and was not going to make it and Mrs. Duplacee wanted us to come and sing to him.
We went to the hospital Mr Dupacee could not open his eyes or speak to us but had worked out a way to communicate yes or no with his wife.  We were asked to sing this song.  It was so hard to sing these words and even harder to sing God be with you Till we meet again.  The Spirit was so strong in the room and Angles were in attendance that day.  Tears were flowing freely from Mr Duplacess eyes.
We attended his funeral at the Anglican church and again this song was sung but in Africans.  As we were singing this song.  I felt Mr Duplacess hand on my shoulder and heard  him say its true its all true.  Please tell my wife its true.
We went to go and visit his wife just a couple of days after the funeral and she was gone.  Her children had taken her home with them.  I did not get a chance to tell her the message from her husband.
I hope with all heart that they are together and happy.  I hope they have been taught the gospel and I hope to see them when I get to heaven and give them a great big hug!
