Today as I was canning I could not help but think about my Grandma and Grandpa Jarvis. I think my Grandpa had the best garden in Heber, AZ. I loved hanging out in the garden talking to him. I miss canning with Grandma. I was very blessed to have grandparents like them. I miss the long talks, drives, the stories of my family history. I miss them coming to where my family camped in the summer and them bringing us cold root-beer and a rope licorice.
I have so many fond memories of spending time with them. They have left me a legacy of love and determination to carry on. More than gardens or canning they taught me to love, give unselfishly, think of others before self and to always have an open door and to always do my best in everything I do and to turn to my Heavenly Father when I just can't do it anymore. I will do my very best to carry on the legacy they left me. I am a very lucky girl to have such wonderful grandparents like them!!
