Sophistication

I learned something new about me. Its complicated. Really, I have an knack for making things complicated. Simplicity is just to easy. When I start to tackle a task I gather many thoughts in my head. As I turn them over and over in my mind and they begin to weave a pattern growing and growing, thoughts, words, ideas anew. They come in many shapes and forms and sizes. Until at last my thoughts, like a silver thread, are being intrically woven and growing more and more grander as they process in my head until alas. I see a tangled web, complex, and large my own design. Its beautiful, but much too grand. These grand ideas leave me feeling dizzy and defeated before I begin. I become tired just thinking of all the work to put my plan into action. Then to think of all the possiblities of something that just might go wrong. Whew! Its to much for my little head. So here it goes another well laid out plan that goes undone and it was all in vain.

So the moral of my story is learned from a great man, who to an artist with many a grand design who said.

"Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication."
Leonardo da Vinci
