Take II or Three something like that

It's been a long time since I have blogged anything about our family at all. Well a TON of stuff has happened in the Stuart Zoo too.
Just this year alone will bring many gootimes and changes for us. In February another we added another baby! Brenda Anne was born on February 1oth and we are so glad she is here and we can say 8 is enough..... Well that is not quite true as we really are a family of with 10 little Indians.
I though have had 8 little guys and my body is tired..... I just want to sleep and now I can see the time of no diapers on the horizon in the next few years. I have been changing diapers for 13 years and counting, we have 5 car seats in our van so our 15 passenger van does not really seat 15, not with the car seats taking up so much room.
I like to escape life through books and I LOVE to read tons. I am looking forward to reading Anna Karena by Tolstoy this next week.
My life has changed soooo much over this past year... Life has been very HARD this past year... I feel like their is still soo many changes yet to come to pass in our families lives.
But one day and a time and we will get through this. Right?
We are still homeschooling our kids and I still love it. I am getting used to all the messiness that it brings. Homeschooling and 8 children to not equate to a Joan Cleaver neat and clean home.
Yet I love my mess the very best....
I am looking forward to our family vacation to Arizona in a few weeks! I will be taking some training for our homeschool group here in Colorado. And I am very excited for it. It is on teaching Math and Science through the classics, and using Georgics for Earth Science.... I felt the Spirit whisper to me to take this and so I am . I have begun to read the assigned readings for trainings and can I say they are opening my mind to new horizons!! I hated math as a kid and never got it. I never realized the link between math and science. and Now that I am reading biographies of the great mathematicians and Scientists I am having fun.
I have always loved to read, I was/ am a nerd that way. I still love reading and the same brain candy books, mysteries, fluff are ok but I like the way my brain thinks, and works when I have to struggle to read through a book. Its a whole new dimension.
