Life has not been the same since February at the Stuart Zoo. Life has been very chaotic in our home. First of all Mike is still out of work after six long months. We have been doing all kinds of things to bring in money, Pulling weeds, Mowing lawns, Mike painted a friends apartment, Maelyn has been babysitting ( she was able to earn all her camp money and some money for some things she needed)
We started some home improvement projects as well. Well really a total home make over to be exact. We are replacing all of our carpet with Laminate wood floors, and tile, we are painting the entire house, building new cupboard doors and door fronts, painting the cabinets, putting in new counter tops, we took out a counter in the kitchen ( I purchased a small cute Island that actually has cupboard space to hide my 5 gallon buckets of flour, sugar and rice yay), and we are scraping the popcorn of the ceilings. I have been very proud of Mike he is doing an amazing job will all these projects. I am more on the sidelines keeping up with the regular stuff and getting organized. I have been pretty nauseated as well.
Well that leads me into our BIG NEWS We are going to have another Baby! and yes we are very excited to have baby 8 join us. I am now 14 weeks pregnant and the nausea seems to be leaving. (happy dance) Our little one is due in February and I really hope Mike gets a job soon so we will have insurance! I would love to have an ultrasound and get to see this new baby inside me.
We have been doing some nature days with a some friends of ours and having loads of fun. I will be blogging and posting Pictures ( my misplaced camera cord has been found)
We started school Aug. 10th. We now have 4 kids actually homeschooling and they talked us into doing COVA, an online charter school. They are excited so this should be a great year and I am finally feeling ready to meet the demands of our busy schooling days.
I will be updating more on my blog soon right now its late and I am speaking in our church tomorrow and must finish my talk.
