I guess one might wonder why there are so many kid books on my goodreads list. I love reading and I do have 7 kids and I homeschool. Sometimes I buy books like a do groceries by the ton. We could never have enough books. There is just to many good ones out there.
In our school we are currently reading Milton Hershey( a Childhood of Famous American series book) and Kit Learns a Lesson ( an American Girl Story) These books are for our homeschool group, Liberty kids. We meet together a couple of times a month and have a colloquium and do an activity about the books we read each month. Right now we are writing and working on a play that the kids will put on at our Christmas Party. This is a group that we learn about American History through historical fiction.
Well I will have to write more about how we homeschool and why later. For now I am off to get supper out of the oven and to make 7 thing costumes and a Mrs. and Mr. Cat in the hat costumes for our Trunk or Treat tomorrow night. Yes I am a procrastinator.
